What is a same-day order?

An order where the date the customer places the order is also the same day as the date they need it made by the vendor and delivered by one of our delivery partners.

These orders have a 3-12 hour notice period, and a 15 minute order-acceptance vendor SLA.

When building your vendor profile, you can flag whether or not you can accept same-day orders.

Furthermore, each location can set their own headcount capacity for same-day orders. If a location is unable to accept same-day orders, you can set your 3-12 hours' notice option to 0, and then that location will not show up when a customer searches for same-day orders.

It is very important that if a location is unable to fulfil same-day orders for whatever reason, you go to Account --> Addresses --> View/Edit and scroll down to Headcount Capacity to change this information. This is a self-serve function, and you can make those changes as frequently as you need to. Making sure this information is up to date means that customers will only be able to place a same-day order from vendors and locations that can fulfil those orders.
